Texting for Tacos

David Wang

Earlier this week, Taco Bell launched an app [See it Here]. So did Outback [Read More]. Not that we’re in the mood for a Beefy Frito Burrito or a Bloomin’ Onion right now, but if we were, would we really want to go download an app to order one? And how many of these restaurant apps are we going to need to satisfy our munchies?

If we really wanted a
Fiery Doritos Taco Loco
right now
wouldn’t it be easier if we could just
text in our order?

Texting is an app everyone already uses. Daily. A lot. It’s faster and easier than making a phone call and we don’t have to fill up our phones with a bunch of different apps. Americans send an average of 764 text messages per month [Source]. Imagine if that 765th text got you a big beefy Cholupa Supreme.

But is text ordering really a thing? At Zingle we’ve got hundreds of high volume restaurants using our system to let their customers text in an order, check on the special, or make a reservation. Their customers love the ease and convenience and the restaurants love that they’re able to get through their lunch rush more efficiently.

If you’re interested in learning how Zingle can help you help your customers by offering a simple and efficient text ordering system,
text us at 858.352.5225.
We’ll text you back.
